Volunteer opportunities are available. You may serve as a board member of LCP, host a diaper or wipes drive, collect can food for our Thanksgiving and purchase gifts for Christmas, or serve as a volunteer at a LCP fundraising event.
Monetary Donations: we use the money you donate to purchase items for the Rainbow room and to fulfill special requests by CPS caseworkers.
- Conduct a drive at your work, church or school. We always need items such as diapers, wipes, baby shampoo/lotion, new clothes, snack bags, toys, etc.
- Collect canned goods to make Thanksgiving baskets for the caseworkers to deliver to families in need.
- “Adopt” a child at Christmas and buy the items on their Christmas wish list.
- Sponsor and or host a graduation shower for a senior who is in foster care and is pursuing higher education.
- Volunteer to be a shopper or to organize the rainbow room.
