The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room that is stocked with children’s clothing, diapers, baby wipes, shoes, coats, toys, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, lice treatment kits, snacks and many other items a family may need.  These items are available to the caseworker to distribute to children and families who are working with Child Protective Services at any time.

In addition to the items stored in the Rainbow Room, LCP purchases special requested items such as beds, mattresses, air conditioners/heaters, food and other items that are not available in the Rainbow Room. *Most needed items- diapers, wipes, new clothes and shoes, non perishable snacks, baby bottles.  The Rainbow Room is located inside the Child Protective Services building in Lufkin, TX.
